Andrei visits Johan van der Maarel, Associate Professor of Biophysics at the National University of Singapore (NUS). On 22 of November 2012 Andrei gave a seminar “Block copolymers from computer simulation”. On 23rd November he attended a seminar of van der Maarel’s group. Research facilities of NUS are very impressive even during down-poring rain.
Nanotechnology symposium, organized by UCLan Institute of Nanotechnology and Bioengineering took place on 20th November 2012 in Shenzhen, China. Dr Sevink visited our group on 1-3 November 2012.

From October 15 to October 17, 2012, Andrei participated in a CECAM workshop “Structure, functionalization and dynamics of fluid interfaces” at the University of Zaragoza, Spain. On 6th of June 2012 Andrei and Marco participated in an International Symposium “Physics of Complex Fluids”, dedicated to the 70th birthday of Professor Alexander V. Zatovsky (1942 – 2006), in Odessa, Ukraine. Andrei was one of the organizers and he also delivered an opening lecture “Scientific biography of A.V. Zatovsky”.
